For those who visit colder climates, or have frequent issues with
birds, cowl plugs can be a necessity. Flightline interiors is now
selling cowl plugs for the RV-10, cut to fit the standard Van's
cowling. The plugs are made of a quality vinyl and a firm foam to
allow them to seal tightly into the cowl. Included is a nylon
carrying bag, sewn-in remove before flight strips, and even some plugs
to keep the rain out of your NACA vents when parked on the ramp.

Custom Plugs Available
In addition to the standard Red cowl plugs, custom embroidery or colors
can be done. Although nothing beats red for visibility, for the
truly vanity stricken, a matching color may be your wish.
