Terry Cole's RV-10 Pics from the Abilene Airfest '04
Terry Cole was nice enough to send
me these shots from under the
cowling that he took at the Abilene Airfest in September 2004.
The photos of the new "E-Mag" aren't from the RV-10, as at the time of
these photos it was only available in a 4-cyl. version. If
you check out pics 67 & 68, (mouse over them and read your status
bar at the bottom of the browser window to read the number) you'll see
that it has the "E-Mag" on
the right side. It's a self-contained
mag, and they also make a "P-Mag" that is self contained and self
powered. These Mags will revolutionize electronic ignitions once
again. I was planning on
single or even dual lightspeeds, but I if they can get a 6-cyl. P-Mag
out by the time I need to fly, I'll be going with either one P-Mag, and
one E-Mag, or just 2 P-Mags. Great stuff.
