Thought I'd finish this up today..... But. Actually last night I was able to get a jump on sanding the SuperFil, got up early 9before |
the heat and finished up the sanding. NBEeded a little more fill, so used some metal glaze to slightly build up some areas, |
resanded , reapplied glaze, resanded...... Finally I thought it was ready for prime, mixes up a couple of OZ of Smoothprime and |
used the credit card to squeege on a layer all around , fills pinholes better than any other approach, Sanded that w. some 100 |
grit when it dried and then shot 3 coats of Smooth Prime, All was going well (minus a couple fo runs) until I noticed some 'bumps |
on the lower right side of the induction intake, you can see thim in picture # 3 below. Even though these are probably never going |
to be seen by anyone, they will bug me forever, so tomorrow (or later tonight after sundown, just to danr hot now -112) I'll get the |
metal glaze out and fill/blend and remove the 'bumps' then we'll get back to the priming. |
