Another day of head scratching, I find hat with the airframe I spend 1 out of 10 hours doing research/planning etc. With wiring, |
it's just the opposite, I spend 10 hours of planning/designing/reasearch, double checking for each hour of actual labor expended, |
makes the whole process go much slower as I'm logging pretty much actual labor time vs the total. I ran power from the circuit |
breakers to all of the rocker switches, also ran power to the lights on the rockere switches in the console. The switches in the |
panel all go to things external to the panel and will get connected to their respective devices when the panel gets mounted in the |
airframe. I need to connect the switches in the console to the devices they control (and put a disconnect between) and then I |
should be ready for a continuity check of all connections and following that a power on test of the avionics. I've been puzzeling |
over the connections to the rocker switches, I can 'make' the fast-on terminals 'work' with some coaxing, but I'm uncomfortable, |
so I'll go ahead and test it this way, but I'll either order some terminals from Stein and solder some wire with 'real' faston |
terminals to the switches or attempt to find some quick connect terminals that can be crimped and attach directly to the .110 |
