| Before I paint the interior, I want to get all of the 'messy' stuff out of the way. One of the last of those items is to make some |

| upholstery panels for the rear seats. Initially I was going to glue some foam pieces in place and then sand them to shape. But |
|
| that proved to be a bigger effort than I banked on. Additionally it was going to be difficult to remove the foam et. all afterwards. I |
|
| settled on using duct tape to create a ROUGH countour for the panels. I just used LOTS of small pieces of duct tape placed so |
|
| as to create some rounded corners. the other benefit of the duct tape is that it's also a release agent. After the pieces cure and |
|
| are popped off they will require a LOT of additional filling and sanding and perhaps some more lay-ups. But this will give me the |
|
| basic panel. I used 3 plys of 3 oz cloth 12"x 24" cut on the bias and placed that on the flat portion and transitioned to the 4 |
|
| curved areas. Then I cut 4" wide strips of cloth again cut on the bias and layed up 3 plies on each of the 4 sides. Repeated the |
|
| process for both sides. I'll either paint these (Dove) or cover them in matching leather. On the inside/flat portion I'll put a leather |
|
| covered insert of contrasting color (Ash) anbd a padded arm rest. I'll probably wait to finish these, I want to get th e interior |

| painted next week, and get back to my finish list of To-Do's |
