Working off the electrical items on the to-do list. I attached male Molex connectors to all of the strobe wires and connected them |
to the power supply. I also installed silicon ternimal caps on the majority of the battery and contactor ternimals. This was |
suggested to me by a frieind who said one DAR refused to sign-off until it was done, I suspect it's a good idea, but I'm not really |
convinced of the marginal value. The LED lghts that came with the overhead are totally unacceptable for piloting. I ordered some |
replacement LEDs and was going to replace the 'bulbs' in the recepticals, but I really like some of th elights that Stein sells, and |
so I ordered a pair and installed them as replacements, I ordered the RED (vs Blue) lights as that's also the color of the |
glareshield illumintor I bought as well. They can be swiveled and positioned in order to read maps/charts or directly on the |
instrument panel itself if necesary. I also bought some replacement LED lights for the rear/passenger seats, but I'm going to hold |
off on installing them because I don't really want TOO much light emenating from the rear seats in flight. I completed the wiring |
of the Pilot and Co-pilot stick grips and tested all of the functions. |
