The kids have returned to school, but the heat persists. So I've capitulated and am moving indoors. I'm reassembling /testing the |
instrument panel and making some changes along the way. I reinstalled oll of the painted sub panels. and then mounted the |
EFIS mounting boxes to their respective panels. Installed the lighted rocker switches in their subpanel. I needed to update the |
Dynon D10A to the latest code (the one that supports HSI) Since the harnes with the serial connector is installed in the plane, I |
took the laptop and the D10A out to the plane and temp connected them to one of the batts, and after backing up the existing |
program, downloaded and updated to the latest version. Then I manually installed the D10A into the center stack. I took the |
harness enmasse and positioned it behind the panel and reconnected the GMA 430, GMS 327, SL30, SL40, and Both Op Tech |
EFIS. I replaced all of the old ACS breakers with pullable Klixon breakers. I have most of these already on a switch, but the ACS |
breakers were cheap and looked it. I picked up a portable labeling machine and I'm making lables for everything as I go, which |
should aid in the installation into the A/C/. After being away from this for 1 year it's taking some 'reacquainting' |
