Yesterday, I reassembled and then installed the center console (hopefully for the past time until the conditional insp). Then

installed the Autopilot,switches, and trim indicator panel into the console. I needed to add a couple of Dsub shells to a couple of

connectors. It appears that everything works after being installed. I also 'centered the control sticks. When I initially put the

control linkage together I didn't get the sticks parallel, so today was the time to fix that, I ws surprised at just how much

adjustment it took to bring them parallell. I ended up with the rod ends almost fully screwed into the hex tube.

Today, I installed the radio stacks and tested, AOK, The Defrost fans weren't working, so I trouble shot those. Turns out the

problem was with the grounds. (I had them grounded locally to the fan/plate. I disassembled them and cleaned all of the

paint/primer off the connection points, and did the same with the screw holes on the glare shield, I tested them and found them

to work then installed then (hopefully for the final time). These don't push out a lot of air (they're PC fans), but they are quiet and

should help remove some of the heat from behind the panel.

The last task today was to inspect / remove / replace/ the structural screws that hold the door hinges to the cabin cover and

retorgue them. I've got to recheck the hardware on the gas struts tomorrow.

Defrost fans fixed and reinstalled.
