I've been looking for someone that could lazer/waterjet cut new subpanels for my instrument panel, I hand cut the originals and |
am not happy with them. I got prices any where up to $400. I was having a problem accurattely recreating the outlines of the |
subpanels in a CAD program. When it dawned on me to call Aerotronics where I purchased the fiberglass panel from. I called |
Gary Wirrell, who not only agreed to cut them but offered to do it for FREE!!!!! Gary had been monitoring some of the msg |
boards and had seen previous posts favorable to Aerotronics and wanted to return a favor. WOW! and just when I was |
beginning to think that customer service was dead. So I spent most of this morning disassembling the panel so I could send him |
the old panels for reference. My work of art looks like Junk! but it will get better! The rest of the day was spent trying to install a |
fuel purge valve return line. The parts arrived yesterday. I cut through the FF just below the fuel feed line, and ran the line along |
the right side of the tunnel. I'm having a dickens of a time getting the line connected to a right angle fitting I installed right behind |
the brake line fitting. There's not a lot of room for a wrench in there! |
