| take some time with them. I then riveted the bottom attach plates to the firewal along with the #8 nutplates attached. final |

| sanded the aft edge of the bottom cowl to provide proper clearance/gap with fuse skins and also sanded the horizontal seam |

| between the upper and bottom colw halves. I inserted the hinge pin into the bottom hinge while it was still clecoed to the colw |

| and drilled #40 through the firewall at the point where the hinge struck the firewall. this is so that I can put the hinge pins in from |

| inside of the cockpit and eliminate any external provisions. I did use Van's hardware to partially hide the upper hinge pins. Then |

| Prosealed and Rivited all of the remaining hinges to the bottom cowl. |
