Same old story, filling, curing, sanding, ... repeat.... It is getting close to the end of the Flox/Fill esisodes, I think i've got enough |
of a build-up on both doors to get them flush with the Fuse sides, without body filler. After sanding flush tomorrow, there are a |
couple of spots where the gap is a little too big for now, so a little more filler there and then I think that part is done. The next |
step is to remove the doors (again) and fill then with SuperFil, sand them and then shoot them, with Smooth Prime and final |
sand then. the right door will need a repair where I cut the handle too big. Then I think I'll also prepare the Cabin cover, to get |
ready for paint (I'm not close to painting) I want to get as much of this Major sanding and filling out of the way before the engine |
arrives. I've still got some repari work to do on the inside of the doors, but haven't decided if I want to do it now, or when I install |
the interior, headliner and side panels. The Super Fil over the Flox on the Cabin/Fuse seam worked great, It sands NICE!!!!, |
applied a couple of touch up spots which need to be sanded out and blended, then I'll re-prime that area. |
