Happy Thanksgiving! I stole a couple of hours this morning to go out and check out the doors. I first sanded all of the exterior |
edgeg flush between the door and the cabin cover. A couple of places will require some additional build up where the cabin |
cover is still lower than the door, After finishing this initial sanding , I think that this is going to work out very well, it's going to ad |
considerably in terms of additional hours of sanding, but the process is going to yeild a MUCH better fit and finish between the |
doors and cabin top. After getting the exterior surface filled and sanded, the inside of the door jam is next, as the 'squeege' |
produced some irregular blobs that need to be sanded flush, then the inside will need to be 'squeeged' to fill the gaps and |
produce a smoothe surface, after that's done then a careful sanding should produce the desired finish edge. I figure it will take |
me the rest of this week and all of next week to get the 2 doors and cabin cover exterior finished up. |
