Mounted / Epoxied the Right Rear window in place. Cut out the plexi for the cabin door windows, prepped them by sanding the |
edges progressively w/ 100, 150, 220 grit paper, then began the process of applying the peelable protective covering to each |
side of the door windows. The Door windows seem to be thicker than the Rear windows, when test fitting them, they were flush |
to slightly above the surface of the doors without any shims, the rear windows were consistently beow the surface and needed |
shims, it looks like these will not require any shims, I used a Dremel to relieve the edges in the doors themselves where the |
window sits to make sure that there was no radius that would cause the doors to sit up proud, I also sanded off all of the Smooth |
Prime on the window flange so I'll get a proper bond with the epoxy. Then I taped both sides with 3M fine line tape and applied 4 |
coats of the peelable protective covering to each side of the door windows. John Ackerman is having a project open house at his |

home in Prescott tomorrow so i |
