Began by drilling and bolting the middel rudder brace mount support. then Installed the brake lines . both the braided stainless |
steel and the nylon. i had to make a trip to AEROZONA parts to pick up a couple of AN fittings, the ones suplied in the kit are 90 |
degree , but with the MATCO parking brake valve, i needed straight couplings. There is some rubbing of the braided lines, I'll try |
some adjusting, but i expect i'll need to get some spiral shiled and put around one or both. it wouldn't be a bad idea even from an |
appearance point of view. Installing the nylon lines took a bit more work than I expected. I installed them on the Left side of the |
cockpit first and no problem. The problem is getting the small bradd make fitting installed on the other end AND THEN getting |
the compression fitting to move down far enough so that you can get the threads started on the brass coupling, with one oend |
already attached theres' not a lot of leverage to get the fitting inserted and then compressed, so it took a but longer than |
expected. Everything else went fine. |
