Continuing to rivet bottom wings skins working on the Left wing at the moment, inboard skin complete and 2 bays remaining on |
the outboard skin, This is taking Way longer than I expected, and is adding some strecth to some muscles and tendons that |
haven't been stretched this way for too many years! I've done most of this by myself, pressed judy 9reluctantly0 into service on a |
couple of places where I just couldn't get both hands together. My placement of the pitot tube has added considerable to this |
effort, I had to move the control module becasue there was no wasy after the skins were riveted that I would be able to connect |
the wires from the pitot to the control module, That added an hour, and then figuring how to rivet the backplate for the pitot |
added probably another hour. I don't know if i;'ll be able to get the right wing done tomorrow for the move to the hanger Sat, may |
need to reschedule the move. There are some places where I was sure that I was going to have to use some pop rivets, but a |
little noodling, and contortions and so far, I'm pop free, whihc I didn't think would happen. It's a good thing this is the BOTTOM of |
the wing, cause I've created a couple of new dings, Paint prep should fix most of them. |
