Aerial Shots

Added 6/9/2006 - 84 hours total time

Thanks to Stein for taking the time to give my wife a ride in his 6 and shoot some aerial photos of the plane.  These are the first that we've had that really turned out good, for the most part.  The weather didn't turn in our favor, so some day I'll just have to do better, but now I at least have a nice photo for my cube wall.  It was a super smooth night, and we were able to fly nice and stable.  As it turned out, the performance of my -10 is very much equal to the RV-6, albeit at higher fuel flows.
We had a blast getting together for these photos.  I now intend to buy a good but cheap 3MP digital camera to keep in the plane for occasions like this when I should have been taking photos of his plane too.  If anyone is flying up for OSH and they want to do some formation and get some photos, just let me know.   I'd hope that you had at least either a good amount of flying time, and some experience in your new RV-10, or some prior formation time....I'd hate to lose some of the blue from my wingtips. <G>
