Overhead Console Air Inlet

Here are some photos of the air inlet designed to feed the overhead console that is being installed in Ed Hayden's plane by Tony Sustare.   One of my few complaints about the RV-10 is the poor ventilation design....not the lack of ventilation, but it's not directed where and how you'd want it.  Using the overhead console not only allows you to put in cabin lighting easier, but DVD players, and most importantly, overhead ventilation.   In addition to these vents, Ed has A/C installed in the tail, and he can turn on the fan and A/C on the ground and have cool air before he even lifts off.  It's one of the few mods I may pursue for myself in the future, even though I'm completed.  I can do without the A/C, but ventilation is a real nice thing to have.
